Morada Bay at Sunset

Midway Cafe

Martini-from-Pierres

I just returned from Islamorada, Florida—one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. Friendly people, perfect weather, and a knock-your-socks-off sunset every evening. In a word, paradise.

And the food was delicious! From casual beach bars to fine dining, Islamorada has something for everyone. The next time you find yourself in the Keys (lucky you!), enjoy some of my favorites spots!

Morada Bay Beach Café. Delicious seafood, a fantastic view of the sunset, and a margarita that will blow your mind.

Midway Café. Great coffee, killer breakfasts and baked goods, and fresh smoothies and juices.

Pierre’s. Fabulous French cuisine, a terrific wine list, and ambience, ambience, ambience.

Sid and Roxie’s Green Turtle Inn. Seafood galore, world-famous cinnamon rolls, and a fun atmosphere.

Lor-E-Lei Cabana Bar and Restaurant. Live music (or magicians if you’re lucky!), beachside bar, and the best conch fritters I’ve had.

Looks beautiful and the places all look amazing especially as I’m looking at the snow falling from my office window in Chicago (a.k.a. Chiberia).
